Growing up in a Christian family, reading the Bible is a must before bed time. This tradition gave me the opportunity to come across "Isaiah 41:10" one night. This verse served as a reminder that "God tells his people not to fear, for God is with them,” inspiring my own song “Against the Odds.” This song is my expression of my various life experiences as a first-generation immigrant. I hope my favorite lyrics of the song, “I will not be in fear because the God I serve is ABLE,” motivates others the way it has encouraged me.
