I have always enjoyed fishing for as long as I can remember. As I got older I looked for more better and different opportunities. One day at a local lake I hooked into what was my first bass, I had a new direction. Wanting to do and learn more, I joined a state federated BASS club in about 1981. For the next several years I fished club, local regional, and state tournaments.However somewhere around the summer of 1990 personal obligations required most of my time and I had to walk away from fishing.

Now fast forward a quarter century to 2015. A coworker had just come back from a family oriented long weekend fishing vacation. He started talking up fishing, and talked it up, and up. Slowly in the back of my head I saw the fishing spark ignite once again. I went through the back of a closet to see what equipment I still had, thought about what I wanted. Read up on some of the new techniques. And now, so it would seem, I am Back Into Fishing.
