About Dr. B's House Calls

Stephen Blythe has over 30 years of experience. Trained in family medicine and nutrition, he has practiced in a remote fishing village on the coast of Maine, in a refugee camp in Central America, on a native American reservation, in the suburbs, and in a VA clinic. And yes, he used to make house calls! He has worked with people from all walks of life, and learned early on the be compassionate and understanding, and to educate patients and help them understand and navigate the chaos of the American health care system. He spends a lot of time assisting patients in finding affordable care and affordable prescriptions, and even wrote a book called "Uninsured in America". The goal of this channel is to continue helping people understand their health problems and to navigate the US health care system.
