This channel will fearture trumpet music, trumpet players and information on expanding your own trumpet playing world. I started plaing the trumpet about 50 years ago. I earned a B.S. in Music Education in 1984 from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and then spent the next 11 years playing trumpet in the United States Air Force Band at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. In 2001 I hung up my trumpet and didn't touch a trumpet again until the summer of 2023. I've always loved the trumpet and music of all kinds, even during the years I was not longer playing. But I had really begun to miss all the fun of playing trumpet and practicing and just hanging with cool trumpet players. I want to bring the joy of trumpet playing and trumpet music to wide an audience as possible by exposing newer trumpeters to all the great music and players of the past as well as explore what the boat load of great younger players are doing today. I just want everyone to have fun.
