My deep condolences to all the farmers where tragedy has struck in TN due to crop failure. Every year this cry for water goes on and then nothing happens. My sincere feeling is that only technology and new thinking will save us.What do we have in abundance? It is sunshine only. We have to use this to generate electricity and in turn use the electricity generated to convert Sea water to potable water.We could in turn use this water to start new methods, to grow Paddy/Rice,such as Drip irrigation and Sprinklers to solve our problems.Take the help of ISRAEL to do this-This country is already helping India in a lot of fields and are friends of India.They have the expertise in this field. SELF HELP IS THE BEST HELP.
