I am a wife and mom of 4 children between the ages of 6 and 20. I have been diagnosed with several mental health disorders and through my struggle with said issues I gave up on caring for my body, mind, health and spirit for many years. I gained a lot of weight which added to my fears, stress and anxiety. I’ve struggled for years to lose the weight and keep it off. I now realize there has to be a whole mind/heart change for my body to change. After careful consideration I opted to have a VSG and I had surgery on 3•20•20. It’s a great tool but there is a lot of work involved. So, for accountability, motivation and (hopefully) to be an inspiration to others, I have created this channel to document my journey through weight loss, mental and physical health issues and spiritual growth.
