In 2016, my world was shaken when my husband unexpectedly succumbed to a heart attack just four years before my father's passing due to COVID-19. These experiences have taught me that healing requires inner work as Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh said, "The way out is in." I returned to my spiritual home, practiced self-care, self-reflection, and learned to be present in its magicall.
