Bernard Clay plays hymns with Ebony Flare- THE Black Church Experience. Since 1866, his grandfather Essex Anderson (1866-1938), his mother Leola Anderson Clay (1910-1989), and Bernard himself played this music in the black church coming from the Mississippi Delta.
