DJ Wass is a Jamaican DJ, Who grew up in Muir House Buxton Brown’s Town, St. Ann.
While growing up, he had a friend who owned a turntable
and he became intrigued by its versatility. This is where DJ Wass’s love affair with music
began. Although he studied food preparation in college, music was his passion and over
time he taught himself how to play and decided to pursue music professionally at the age
of 20.

As a DJ, Wass plays all genres of music however, he has a special love for Afrobeats,
Dancehall, Hip hop and Soca as evidenced by his popular mixtapes.
During his musical journey, Wass lists his biggest achievement as being verified on Soundcloud, Audiomack and Youtube with a silver play button as well as having over 100k subscribers on his youtube channel.
