This is home for my presence on YouTube. I'm an old retired guy into retro-computing, computer repair, bass guitar, old-school tabletop RPGs, and the present video gaming scene. The screen name comes from one of my lifelong hobbies: Egyptology. I'm no expert on the subject, but do read in it a lot and try to keep up with current events in the field as best I can.

If I ever get up the gumption, I'll be launching my other channel, Readings from the American Founding. As it sounds, I'll be reading from the documents that came out of America's founding. I intend to not offer too much commentary, and hope to promote respectful discussion of the concepts espoused in those documents. (In other words, flames, trolls, and other such will usually be directed to /dev/null unless actually relevant to the discussion.)
