Hello. I wrote this description for the sole purpose of sharing my concerns about this country (USA) and the world.
We, as a country and as individuals, have lost our humanity. Obviously, not everyone has- but enough to make a negative impact on this country as a whole- and, by extension, the rest of world.
We no longer feel it is necessary to be respectful of one another. We have lost sight of the altruistic meaning of the “greater good”. The concepts of liberty and freedom have been twisted to such an extent that people recognize and grant these freedoms to themselves exclusively- with no regard for all the other people that live in our society.
Everyone in this country -and the world- should be afforded the same rights, responsibilities, and respect. You cannot use your “freedoms” to the detriment of others. That’s where your freedom stops and theirs begins.
Open yourself to other points of view. Listen closely, and respond with respect.
No man is an island.
