Greetings! I'm Soozcat, and in August 2018 I had bariatric surgery -- specifically, biliopancreatic diversion with duodenal switch (or just DS for short) -- to help bring my Type 2 diabetes under control and, not coincidentally, lose a lot of excess weight. At the end of each week I post videos charting my progress toward better health. I also give general advice to would-be DS patients (reality check: I'm not a doctor, nor do I play one on TV) and may very well talk about anything else that strikes my fancy. 'Cause I'm like that.
