About A Little Fish in the Kitchen

Hello! My name is Marcelle and I'm a mom, military wife, Texan and recovering legal professional who was blessed with the opportunity to become a SAHM in 2012. Being a full-time mom and homemaker has honestly been the most demanding job I've ever had, my kids don't like to give coffee breaks!! But, I wouldn't trade being in this position for anything.

I've always had an intense passion for baking and cooking and being at home has allowed me to cultivate that love into a few avenues. I started my food blog, A Little Fish in the Kitchen, in 2011 and I still share there regularly. I'm also a self taught professional cookier, cake decorator and food photographer. I've tried to make the most of my time at home as a full-time mom, both for my family and for myself. Sharing here on YouTube just seemed like an exciting new chapter and the next step for me.

On my channel, I share mostly simple recipes with a southern flair with some family-friendly travel vlogs mixed in!
