Hi there! My name is Shonda and welcome to my channel Sweetpeas Backyard Garden. I've been gardening for many years in different spaces and I've learned that each space is unique. Our current living space is in Northern California, Solano County. My area's hardiness zone is classifed as zone 9b. And, it is considerably different than my last home, which was classified as zone 10a.

I love gardening and observing nature. So, I want to share my gardening journey with folks who are interested in starting a garden in a small space.

Having a small space doesn't mean a small yield. We can grow lots of food, in a small space, to feed our families and friends. Happy gardening!
