First off, I love the concept of this MAP. Kipo and the Wonderbeasts is a great show and I'm definitely anticipating a season 3. Though I never would have imagined combining it with warrior cats in this case it works really well? The palette and designs are gorgeous and the MAP itself is a unique spin on Jayfeather's story. Looking forward to the final product!
Okay now to explain the the thumbnail a bit...
I was inspired to do the background similarly to a scene from the actual show (specifically the ring of eyes drawn to resemble the ring of DNA strands). And the framing of the piece is partially referenced from that scene as well. In the foreground, glowing white, are Jayfeather's closed eyes and also his nose.
Overall, I had fun with this! It took me a few hours to complete, but I'm quite pleased with how the finished product looks, and I got to experiment with a lot of things that I haven't before.
