This is meant to be a quick and informative project. It might be missing some details in order to not be super long and boring, but I tried to include a lot of significant information that hopefully will help you understand what's going on maybe a bit more. If you think I missed something super important let me know and I might add it in. Also if something is confusing tell me too!

I'm no expert on this at all (I'm also not from Ukraine or Russia), this is mostly from stuff I've seen on the news or picked up in class (I'm taking a class all about global conflicts and it's super interesting stuff). If you have any questions I'll gladly do my best to answer them or try to find you some sort of answer. It would be nice to have a general discussion going in the comments about this too.

Speaking of which, this is a really sensitive topic and it's affecting a lot of real people. Please don't go starting arguments or say insensitive things in the comments.

There are a lot of bad things going on around the world. What is happening in Ukraine is just one example of many conflicts taking place, although most are more internal struggles and not quite on the same scale. Personally, I think life is something very valuable and precious and so it really hurts me to see things like this happen. I think it's very important to have awareness and to be informed on what's going on around us though.
