Ah, Cleveland. Purdy still drove them down the field to attempt a game-winning, 41-yard field goal with nine seconds left against the Browns (a defense that was the #1 defense in the NFL at that time), unfortunately, it was missed. People never talk about that. But he got them there.

Purdy makes much much more of those high risk throws than he makes mistakes. But the kid makes one mistake (interception) and that's all you hear about.
  • @curt685
his footwork is s tier. It translates to EVERY TEAM. Not just shanahans....Look at his feet folks

Spot on Baldy. Since KS got to SF, Brock has been the best QB he has had & was instantly better than Jimmy G.
  • @Veaseify
Purdy's TD to INT ratio in his career including post season games is 49-16. He's thrown 16 interceptions in 32 career starts, I don't know why this is a 'thing ' at all...

Rhey forgot to mention his first ever start against Brady at home Brock DOMINATED and the crowd was chanting his name. His dad was crying in the stands.
  • "..mistakes he's making" 🤦‍♂️ the interception play in the first half was his hand getting hit on the follow through. Other than that what mistakes did he make?

At the beginning of the 2022 season Niners were all set to have Lance as the starter and Nate Sudfeld (who got a guaranteed $2m contract) as their backup, trading Jimmy G, and putting Purdy on their practice squad. But then they couldn’t find a trade partner for Jimmy. And they liked Purdy so much in training camp that they didn’t want to expose him to being stolen off their practice squad, so they gave him a roster spot and ate the 2 mill that they gave sudfeld and released him. And just like his first year at Iowa state he started out as a 3rd stringer but leapfrogged everyone above him and was QB1 within a year

Brock Purdy “Silent Assassin”. Thank you Baldy, I’ve had the same thought since late last year.👍🏼

Kyle likes his aggression and lack of fear. Kyle found his guy. Jimmy was afraid of those throws.

Garappolo didnt take them to the superbowl, the defense and running game did. Purdy is the main reason for the SB trip this year

I swear on my life.. Brock’s first ever pass when he came in for that blowout loss against the Chiefs.. that first pass.. it made my eyebrows go up. I was intrigued so I watched his games.. and that’s when I knew we had something.

The naysayers say Brock Purdy only puts up great stats because he has lots of weapons but conveniently forget to mention that Purdy's greatest strength is making everyone around him better, which is the mark of a true leader and champion. The offensive game plan for the 49ers should be to establish the run early on to open up the passing game and to keep on running the ball after that. Why not as the Niners have the best running back in the NFL in Christian McCaffrey? Considering Brock Purdy rushed for 48 yards against the Lions who have one of the best run defenses in the NFL adds another dimension to the Niners run game. And this is crucial as the teams that beat the Chiefs this season did so by running the ball, exposing the Chief's weak run defense. First game of the season for Kansas City was against the Lions who rushed the ball 34 times including 21 carries by Montgomery, leading to a 21-20 upset of the Chiefs. Midway through the season, the Chiefs faced the Broncos who rushed the ball a whopping 40 times for 153 yards, which isn't bad for a Broncos team without an elite RB, which led to a 24-9 upset blowout of KC. A couple of games later, the Chiefs faced the Eagles who rushed the ball 27 times which led to 3 rushing TDs, enough to beat the Chiefs 21-17. A couple of games after that, the Chiefs faced a Packer team that rushed the ball 25 times, which is a lot considering they are predominantly a passing team. The Packers upset the Chiefs 27-19. The following week, the Chiefs played the Bills who rushed the ball 28 times despite Josh Allen having 42 passing attempts. The Bills defeated the Chiefs at KC, 20-17. A couple of games after that, the Chiefs faced the Raiders who ran the ball 29 times for 157 yards. Not bad for a team without a good RB. The Raiders beat the Chiefs at KC, 20-14. What cannot be overstated is the Chiefs up the ante and take it to another level during the postseason, yet the same rule still applies. In the AFC Wild Card Round, the Chiefs faced the Dolphins who rushed the ball 18 times for 76 yards, with Pro Bowl starting RB Raheem Mosert only carrying the ball 8 times. As a result, the Dolphins suffered a blowout loss to KC by a score of 26-7. In the AFC Divisional Round, the Chiefs faced the Bills who rushed the ball 39 times for 182 yards and nearly beat the Chiefs, losing 27-24 after a missed field goal late in the game. In the AFC Championship, the Chiefs faced the Ravens who rushed the ball 16 times, of which RBs carried the ball just 6 times for a measly 23 yards. It's no surprise the Ravens were held scoreless from 5 minutes left in the 1st quarter to near the end of the 4th quarter. After establishing the run, the 49ers offensive line needs to give Brock Purdy adequate protection on passing plays so he will have time to throw to his receiver targets Aiyuk, Deebo, Kittle and Jennings. Bang! Bang! Niner Gang! Niners!!!

I love Baldy, it also feels good to have Rich Eisen. I dont think people realize how terrible media has been for 49er fans. You cant turn anything on without someone bashing our QB. Cant seem to get a positive moment without someone tearing our QB and team down. Rather you like the Niners or not, this is our moment, this is what all us fans dream about, and all I want is some neutral grounds to celebrate both teams. The Chiefs deserve their spotlight against all odds, and so do we. Let us have this, we may never see it again.

Brock's biggest "mistake" was deciding to be short; his interception against the Lions was tipped as the ball came out of his hands, and he had a couple passes blocked at the line. His other mistakes are less frequent than almost all the other QBs, including the elites.

Baldy is the BEST in the business, RESPECT his takes..🗣️🗣️🗣️
