XDefiant launch is slightly disappointing...

EDIT: Let me make something clear. Camo challenges don't need to be the only thing. If they had a wide array of camo patterns to earn while making our way to weapon level 50, 75, and 100 that would have been infinitely better than nothing. I would happily accept that if they went the OG MW3 route and just based it all of XP especially because of how long it takes to rank up weapons. I understand this is pre-season but everything we see does not align with the initial conversations I had with the developers leading up to release. While I'm happy XDefiant has officially launched I'm slightly disappointed that it lacks a variety of content. The game is still good fun to play and I'll definitely be earning my share of gold camos for hitting weapon rank 100. Thanks for liking, commenting, and subscribing :_PrestigeNuke:

Asking a game to put in dumb challenges like sliding kills or long shots is insane, gotta be the worst thing about Cod camo grind. Level system so much better, u can play however u want.

Love that the camos don’t have challenges. Just let me use the gun how I want and I’ll grind XP for it

Have to say I’m really enjoying the fresh gameplay, there will be updates and new features. The servers crashing just show how popular it was

I think you may have had an expectation of the game that was never confirmed. I went into this launch pretty much expecting the battle pass to be bare bones, but the weapon skins in the bundles are really cool, imo. I do agree the prices are too high. I think daily deals should be 500-750. But gameplay? I’m having a blast.

A lot of your complaints sound like non-issues

After 10 games or so, its definitely no cod killer BUT i had a lot of fun and the constant sweating not being present is extremely nice so I'll definitely be playing it and have hope for it's future

And about how many hours does it take to complete a battle pass? Because 50+ hours isn't realistic for everyone. I disagree with needing more too because it's way too often for me personally that I can't complete a battle pass because I don't feel like getting fired from my job to complete it.

I never understood shop pricing in these games. Like I would spend a lot more on shop items if they were 5-10 dollars.

This is just about every game. Not surprised at all. Also great example why I don’t get hyped for games anymore.

Makes me laugh so much that everyone’s bashed cod for years but when a new FPS shooter enters the market you essentially ask for a COD copy and paste (with the camo challenges which btw were incredibly annoying) Xdefiant is probably the most fun I’ve had playing an online FPS shooter since the OG cod days

I'm having a great time. The gunplay is refreshing. Feels like an old school arcade FPS. I'm also a little bit disappointed on the amount of things there are to unlock but if that gets changed in the first season I'd be pretty happy.

It amazes me that this game was delayed and we had multiple playtests to test servers and give feedback.. It really seems like they changed nothing from the first beta.. it’s sad but it doesn’t surprise me that Ubisoft puts out the bare minimum..
