When Matt got “stuck” in Ireland during covid lockdowns, he was known for being incredibly nice with the locals and very friendly to anyone who approached him to say hi. The Irish basically adopted him as one of our own (whether he was aware of that or not). Never heard a bad word said about him!

Bay Cities Deli's Godmother sandwich: Freshly baked crusty bread, four Italian meats (Genoa Salami, Mortadella Cappacola, Ham and Prosciutto) plus Provolone plus “The Works” (mayo, mustard, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, homemade Italian dressing and pickled hot or mild peppers)

I think Matt Damon has won the Colbert Questionert. I didn't even think it was a competition, but he gave such great answers and told stories so well, I will be unable not to compare and contrast future celebrities' Quesionerts with Matt Damon's.

Matt Damon is like your really nice neighbor that you talk to at the fence line while you’re out doing yard work. Sharing pleasantries, gardening tips, and thoughts about the new neighborhood rules. He’s so down to earth you feel like you could pass him on the sidewalk and say “Hey, Matt!” and he would smile back and say hey to you. Super guy; great actor. 😊

The 'I think we go home' comment just made me really, really teary. I'm agnostic, but that would be the best thing. All the pets you ever had just running to you going 'finally Mum!!!'

When my mom died just like Matt I went to sleep 3 days later and I had a dream .. it was our old house when I was a child and a car parks in front and my mom walked in and sat next to me on our old couch and hugged me and said “everything is going to be okay” then I woke up

My father passed away this morning at 3:00 am, so I decided to have a little escape by watching some YouTube videos. I came across this one, not expecting much. When Matt talks about the dream with his father, it broke me. I hope I can have the same dream soon as my father has meant so much to me. Thank you Mr. Colbert for not letting this go to the cutting room floor.

I took the high-speed train from Brussels (Belgium) to London to see Matt Damon in a theatrical play (This is Our Youth). He came down the street, like the average Joe, spent five minutes signing autographs outside the theater, and walked inside. 👍 (I got his autograph too)
