  • As a Nuggets fan, this is the NBA finals. These are the two best teams in the NBA. I'm not saying who wins this will win the title because this series is going to take a lot out of each team. I say, Nugs in 7!

The Nuggets have won one championship, and some people are reacting as if the Joker and the Nuggets are among one of the greatest team of all time. Yes, they have owned the Lakers for two season, and two season only. Yes, I will agree that the Joker is a tough cookie to handle. Yes, they have one of the best coach in the league, in Malone. Yet, they have only won one championship. I would not be surprised if they go on to win another championship, but winning back to back is easier said than done. Very few teams, and I mean very, very few, have repeated. They would have to prove to me that they are capable of doing that for me to say that they are one of the greats. Last year, they got an easier path to their first championship. They played an unprepared team in the first round in the Timberwolves and gave them a gentleman sweep. Then they went on to face a Sun's team that was spirited but was grossly not ready to compete for a championship. Then they went on to face a 7th seeded team in the Lakers that have no right to be in that finals. The Lakers played a team that was well rested, having played in that play-in tournament to reach the playoffs, then have to go thru the second seeded Grizzlies and the 6th seeded Warriors. Apart from not having the requisite tools (players) to compete in such finals against a very good team, in the Nuggets, the Lakers never had a real chance. Then, instead of facing a team such as the Celtics, the Nuggets got even an easier opponent, the Miami Heat. An Eastern conference 8th seeded team. Similar to the Lakers, that team has had to participate in that in-season tournament , while the Nuggets had more than enough to prepared for a team that have no right to be there to begin with, in my view. I know that some folks would say that that was not the Nuggets faults. The Nuggets had no choice but to play whomever that was before them. Well, while that is true, it doesn't necessarily mean that we can't analyze and give out two cents on their first championship, giving the back drop that they are currently considered to be the best team in the nba, as some would say or have said. Sorry Boston, it ain't you. I put it to anyone that the Nuggets first championship was the easiest & luckiest championship run in the history of the NBA. Now, the basketball gods 🙏 may have granted them that one. I think this year, more than ever, they would have to prove to the basketball world that last season wasn't resting on luck. Because I think that last season they were damn lucky in my view. I rest my case, and I am patiently awaiting the second round match-up between them and a young good team in the Timberwolves. Due to inexperience, I am inclined to give the Nuggets the slight edge, but they're not facing a 7th or 8th seeded team, scratching, clawing and fighting for their basketball lives in a play-in tournament in the Timberwolves. The Timberwolves, in my view, will be a serious match-up nightmare for the Nuggets. There are no dwarves in the Timberwolves back court. Let's go!!!!

You called Austin Reeves…Austin Rivers 😂
  • Completely agree with you but I will give advantage to Denver 4:2 or 4:3, because of experience, team spirit, Jokic vs Gobert and rest centers and they cannot lose at home...
  • people forget how good denver is. they have a bunch of clutch players that are not scared of big moments. who in the twolves have that? edwards? that remains to be seen. he's not battle-tested yet. it's all a hype at this point. if denver stays healthy, it's a sure win.

Nuggets are the champs so I give them tespect for that. But ALL year long everyones picking them to win again by a long shot, acting like no team has been that good since KD warriors... they down 0-2 at the moment to the wolves with no experience.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO ONE can stop denver, the only difference between this minnesota team and the one that got gentleman swept last season is naz reid and McDaniels, those guys are not nearly good enough to take that team from getting gentleman swept to doing anything more, denver will win this series in 5, 6 games AT WORST, and go on to defend their title
  • Nuggets are not that good you just need a good big man to beat them
  • Austen Rivers? 'Shy' Gilgeous Alexander? C'mon man. You lose all credibility after that.
