They better not meme Jordan for crying this time. He gave one of the most heartfelt speeches I've ever heard.

My dad called me a year ago to tell me of Kobe’s passing, and I remember thinking “wow I can’t imagine how Vanessa feels” 10 months later my dad unexpectedly passed. And now I know exactly how she felt. Love hard, tell people you love them. Life is so unpredictable, and we can never hit rewind

“everyone always wanted to talk about the comparisons between he and I, I just wanted to talk about Kobe”.. that shit hit hard man
  • it’s amazing that MJ was still able to speak so clearly while tearing up. a real man performs no matter what the emotional pressure is. honorable.

MJ has a whole speech but barely looked at it…that’s how u know this was from the heart

Even in retirement Jordan came through in the clutch…amazing words…R.I.P Mamba.

I can't imagine how he must've felt. Knowing you were his idol growing up, it's possibly on the same level as losing a kid. You can tell he misses Kobe deeply

I am about to run my usual 5 miles before work...I never was like that until you died, I sobered up and realized what I needed to do to better myself like you did every single day. Coming up on 4 years sober now, and I miss you Kobe, thank you for making me a better man in all aspects of my life.
  • I don't care what anybody says about MJ after The Last Dance came out or before that... this is one of the most sincere and most beautiful speeches or eulogies given ever. I have nothing but respect for this man.
  • Episode 5 last dance ... Kobe said I wouldn’t have 5 rings without Michael Jordan ... there wouldn’t be a Kobe Bryant without Michael Jordan, these two guys loved each other ... RIP Kobe ...

"When Kobe Bryant died, a piece of me died" I just dropped a tear when I heard that. Still can't believe he's gone forever. RIP Kobe your legend lives on in our hearts.

"When Kobe Bryant died. A piece of me died." Jordan NEVER allows himself to be in the public eye. or show emotion. Kobe really meant the world to him and it shows.

Michael Jordan nailed that speech, I didn’t know Jordan was such a great speaker and story teller. He sum up a 20 plus relationship in 12 mins unbelievable.

This is what I love about the 80s and 90s era of players... the respect they have for one another.

3 years later and I still can't believe. He had so much left in his tank to complete. RIP Kobe. Jordan you put a big smile on his face from heaven
