I've decided that Iggi's are found all over the world of Xamesh in many different varieties. These creatures are Xamesh's equivalent of birds, the primary seed carriers across long distances and over oceans by Iggi's adapted to long flight or water survival, as well as fitting a variety of ecological niches. Iggi's are capable of rapid adaptation, typically requiring only a week or two before their body alters itself into a different variety for the new conditions. This has contributed to the Kardani view of Iggi's as both a sign of adaptability to be respected, and as the sign of a persistent pest who never goes away despite all you do to make things harder for them. Several common Kardani insults are direct reference to the Iggi in one way or another. The Iggi is often mistaken as having three legs when in fact they have two legs and two grasping appendages. The Iggi can rotate the back section of it's body to allow one grasper or the other to be used as a rear body support, but not both simultaneously. The remaining grasper might curl up above the 'hip', lay along the back, or lay straight back preforming a stabilization role depending on the variety of Iggi. When in flight the legs pull up close to the body and the graspers operate like tail feathers, flattening out the 'star-fish-like' feet for larger control surfaces.
