Fantastic interview. I connected with so much of your experiences. I don't know anyone with MS, so this interview helps me to not feel alone.

You both still have big personalities, intelligent and engaging!

Great interview. Have either of you had a MRI of your spine? Or trouble swallowing? I learned a lot about MS from looking at videos of various stages of MS, how they live and adapt to it physically and mentally. My focus was doing what was necessary to be there for my children who were 10 and 12 years old. Now they are 33 years old and 35 years old.. I am grateful for MS because it helped me to get my priorities for living in the right prospective. Something happens to everyone, but it's how you choose to let it make you or break you. Take care

Hi Debbie. I’m sorry you didn’t have a good experience. I’m sure there were lots of questions for you. You’re a high functioning person too, and yes it’s a challenge when some people don’t know how to address someone or get it wrong and don’t care. Most people are nice and try hard to get it right in my experience, so I’m sorry you didn’t get what you need. Ocrevus is the only DMT I’ve tried, and yes it does take some management initially for some people. Many people report a couple of days tiredness after, and many are fine on it. I was in a bad way initially so that contributed, and like any chemo type treatment it come with the risk of infection but it’s rare and hasn’t happened to me. The small issues I have around it are worth it for the huge benefits of the treatment for me. ❤

Great interview. I’m not diagnosed yet but if it’s MS it won’t be a huge surprise. I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for 30 yrs and some symptoms overlap. And I’m 64 with osteoarthritis so life is not like it was 30 yrs ago lol So we will see
