Sitting next to someone I love dearly whos leaving the game of life, much too young, after a long time on hospice and battling an extremely agressive form of MS, when this gem popped in my head out of nowhere. Much needed. Anyone battling this disease, I Love You, I Care, and just want to say, You Are Some Of The Most Badass Warriors! Keep fighting back. Give it Hell. 🧡
  • Man I love this song. My son just passed away 2 months ago, and when I'm feeling down I listen to this and I picture him zapping through the universe with everyone else. He was 26 yrs old * Update* I want to thank everyone for all your comments! The world is a good place when strangers can come together in moments of sadness and offer strength. For the ones who have lost their children also, the pain is beyond anything that can be put into words. Our world has drastically changed for us and will never be the same, but we keep going! I will continue to keep fighting the dealers of fentanyl. Talk to your kids, adult kids about the dangers of coke, recreationally or not. The casual users are the highest risk of dying. USE FENTANYL TEST STRIPS! Please, do not allow your children to think it can not happen because it can and it will! Dealers show no mercy.

who's listening in Feb. 2020?!??!?! This has seriously got to be one of the BEST songs ever recorded! Everything about the lyrics, to the singing and harmonies and stringed instruments!!! So powerful!
  • My father left when I was young and stayed away for the majority of my life as he struggled with addiction. He came back into my life my junior year of high school and he taught me how to play this on the guitar and spent true quality time with me and that moment was imprinted in my brain forever. He passed away a few years back unexpectedly due to diabetes. Yet he only weighed like 130 so you could imagine the shock. After he passed I listed to this song again and the words hit me hard. There could not have been a more perfect song for him to choose to teach me and I'm so thankful that we will always have that moment with this music💜

The influence of pink floid cannot be denied!!!
  • Hush now, don't you cry Wipe away the teardrop from your eye You're lying safe in bed It was all a bad dream Spinning in your head Your mind tricked you to feel the pain Of someone close to you leaving the game of life So here it is, another chance Wide awake you face the day Your dream is over... or has it just begun? There's a place I like to hide A doorway that I run through in the night Relax child, you were there But only didn't realize and you were scared It's a place where you will learn To face your fears, retrace the years And ride the whims of your mind Commanding in another world Suddenly you hear and see This magic new dimension I- will be watching over you I- am gonna help you see it through I- will protect you in the night I- am smiling next to you, in Silent Lucidity [spoken during solo] (Visualize your dream) (Record it in the present tense) (Put it into a permanent form) (If you persist in your efforts) (You can achieve dream control) (Dream control) (How are we feeling today, better??) (Dream control, dream control) (Help me) If you open your mind for me You won't rely on open eyes to see The walls you built within Come tumbling down, and a new world will begin Living twice at once you learn You're safe from pain in the dream domain A soul set free to fly A round trip journey in your head Master of illusion, can you realize Your dream's alive, you can be the guide but... I- will be watching over you I- am gonna help to see it through I- will protect you in the night I- am smiling next to you...

Every time I try an acoustic guitar at any music store.... This is my one & only song I will try. And all eyes & ears will look & hear till I finish it. To me this is one of the finest classic rock ballads of all time....

For my sweet wife as we both face the fears that ensued in 2020. If these aren't scary times, then forgive me. Just glad I have her beside me during these dark days...

Sublime. The vocals, the arrangement, the lyrics. Everything comes together perfectly. Very acoustically cinematic as well. One of the best songs ever. The Queensrÿche guys must be very pleased knowing they have left the world a masterpiece.
