This was Kobe's best year in LA while Shaq was still on the team and I'd still say it was Shaq's team. Kobe was nuts to think an old-school pure center who could shoot 65% from the field shouldn't have gotten the ball every play. If Shaq was focused and Kobe wasn't trying to be Mike prematurely, the Lakers could have 4-peated and could have gotten more in the falling years.

Wow! Those were the days. Lived in LA during that championship era with Shaq at the height of his powers- as well as Kobe (R.I.P. 🌅☝🏾💜)-went to lots of games and witnessed for my own eyes—what an incredible time that I always appreciated and never took for granted!
