I don't care what your culture is, ethnicity, religion, etc. Music is a great "uniter". The response of the audience says it all. They clearly enjoyed it. Besides, Amazing Grace is a song almost everyone in the world has heard. And when Andre' Rieu and orchestra play it, you can't help but be moved.

does every one understand what just happened?, Andre Rieu played an international well known christian anthem in a deeply Muslim country, also with the participation of Muslim musicians and the admiration and applause of a Muslim audience. He really proved that peace is possible and that music can be more powerful than bombs.

Amazing Grace was one of my mother's favorite tunes. We sang it at her funeral nearly 27 years ago. To this day, I literally tear up and cry anytime I hear it in any form. This version is one of the most beautiful ones I've ever heard.

Amazing Grace is a universal song, and the words can touch everyone regardless of where in the world. The Author of this musical piece is timeless, and the words ring true even today. Too bad we as a society cannot get along and have peace. In the end we will lose all the way around and for what, such a waste. Scotland the Brave makes me cry as if I were Scottish and lost. André Rieu is so awesome with his music, very good. Blessings

This was amazing. As a Scot I have known these tunes since I was a child and this brought tears to my eyes. I have great respect for Mr Rieu ding this. Thanks to the people of Bahrain - I can see the joy and the pleasure as they watch the pipers.
