What makes her so good is the fact that she talks as if the student is sitting right in front of her
  • I had a fantastic english teacher. Many, many years ago. I will never forget her. I did not go to school until i was about 8 years old. When leaving further education, i went on to become audio secretary, working at the highest level, dealing with conveyancing, signing and sealing housing documents. Working along side housing solicitors. House sales. Office machinery, receptionist, sunday school teacher and a small amount of shop work. Not bad as i was considered a late starter. Please don't worry about your children. If they want to learn, it will happen. 😃

  • Yes,indeed. I am a Filipino immigrant to the USA in June 1980. In Philippines,I have had learned in school the correct usage of both very good & very bad. The word very is: an adverb to modify noun ,pronoun, verb, adverb & adjective. Therefore we say: very good ( good is an irregular adjective) Now: in your explanation in your lecture that these both very good & very bad are no longer in English the second language learning in school. You should know that English the second language is the universal learning in school& language.
