The Enclave soldiers off screen providing a full orchestra like those guys on the Titanic

The ai voice breaking now and again kinda fits considering he’s dying and the song fits him pretty well to
  • I can imagine he’s playing the instrumental through some sort of radio inside of his suit

At the end you see his helmets eyes turn off, implying he died or his armor powered down before the rig exploded
  • I feel like any Enclave soldier that couldn’t escape in time to the Vertibirds heard Frank Horrigan’s singing and just walked in and listened sat down or saluted

this How A.I. should be used. Not to replace, but to help enhance human art. The mouth glowing when the power flickers is especially beautiful

Granite and his squad turned on Frank because they were envious of the beautiful voice

Call me strange, call me odd, call me what you will, but for some odd reason This brought a sense of closure to something deep in my heart that I can't particularly word
  • "FRANK?! Holy shit- what- c'mon man we're getting you outta here." "Lou? What the fuck are you still doing here?" "I was evacuating the scientists but what happened-" "Hm. Typical eggheads. Get themselves out and leave us boys behind." "Yeah, well, I sure-as-shit ain't leaving you behind. 'Brothers In Arms' and all that. Now lift your arm, if I give you a stimpack it'll keep you alive long enough to get the last bird-" "No. No Lou, I'm done." "Bullshit! Your Frank Fucking Horrigan! Monster of the Enclave! Now lift that huge arm of yours and I'll-" "I'm giving you an order Lieutenant. Get to the bird, now." [Silence} "Shit.. alright. it's been.. it's been good knowing ya, Frank." "Lou?" "Yes, sir?" "Leave that tape. The one we and the boys sang to that night Navarro. I wanna go out singin''." "...sure thing boss."

Frank truly was the protagonist of his own story. He understood he was the villain in everyone else’s, relished the tyranny in the pursuit of salvation for not just America but the earth itself. He wasn’t a good man but he did it his way for duty and honor.

Sgt Dornan is gonna be so mad he lost the bottom half of his regulation power armour.
  • The ai caters well to Frank's modulated voice, and the song feels strangely fitting for him. Only missing the semper fi

I have to say this would have been a cool way to have him go off. In some strange way it is perfect. This oil rig slowly blowing up with people screaming. And of course of all people is a wounded Frank Horriagn singing a song that usually would be much more innocent. It feels almost like a demented monster excepting their fate.

Ngl this was far better than I thought it was gonna be. Now we need Ulysses singing it too

You know I always wondered why we never found any monuments or any memorial tapes for Frank anywhere on enclave bases
