First of all, that Night Comet spell that you got is very good. It does a lot of damage, it can be charged, it can be chain casted, it’s a night sorcery so it doesn’t alert enemies when casted, and that staff of loss that you got earlier buffs night sorcery. Silent cannon is the perfect description for this spell. But enough backseat gaming from me. Second, if you remember when you each got 50k runes when you got kidnapped by the trapped chest, those runes came from a massive dragon that was supposed to be 7:34 in front of this fort. It died for some reason.

There’s a staff in the area where you got the rock sling spell that increases the damage of gravity spells, and the dungeon with lava you can run through the lava, blood hounds step is great for it.

I recommend upgrading your axe and your staff to do more damage. Your staff and axe can be upgraded with regular smithing stones

The red circles on your map are caves filled with upgrade materials for your weapons and go to the two fingers in the roundtable to use the boss Remembrances

Night comet is on of the strongest spells in the entire game

Night comet is one of the Best spells because enemies do not dogde it, highly recommend it for bosses

If your friend wants to use katanas then he needs to level Dexterity and you need to level intelligence and mind since you’re using a mage build. Please bring this series back

you have to level up your weapons way more if you want to do enough damage you can level them up at the blacksmith by roundtable hold and by using smithing stones if you dont do this you wont be able to do proper damage and beat the game so please for your own sake level up your weapons and also a very good spell to use is comet azure ( its litterally a kamehameha) you should also kill the ulcerated tree spirit to get the cerulian hidden tear for the flask of wondrous physick it makes it so you can use unlimited fp for about 10 seconds i think which lets you use comet azur for a long time and deal a lot of damage also you need leve 50 or 60 intelligence so level that up first
