I own 3 cars that discontinued production. 2008 Pontiac G8 GT, 2017 Chevy SS and now 2018 KIA Stinger GT2. Love them all ..My Luvk

TDLR: The reason why nobody bought the Kia Stinger is because simply, it’s a Kia. Same reason why the VW Phaeton failed.

0:43 speaking of works, my local mechanic brought one as a fast daily driver. He was surprised to find out that that 3.3l in the GT2 has factory forged rods and pistons. So far he did an e85 tune, exhaust, and I think he swapped the turbos and it’s fast. He runs low 11s in it now.

My old Sonata had the 3.3 that the stinger inherited. I straight piped it and man is that a good sounding engine

I had a Spectra 5 SX, loved it, then I got a Forte KOUP R, Loved it, now I have Stinger GT , LOVE IT.

There is a YT video of a Stinger GT2 beating a 392 Charger and these come with a 10yr/100k mile bumper to bumper warranty

I have a 22 Genesis G70 which the lighter more luxury orientated stinger with the same engine and transmission. Car is super fun and makes Hella power. I debadged the back and you would laugh if I told you how many ask if it's an Aston Martin. I have enjoyed it since May 2021 but I'm going back American before they are gone. Either collectors edition Camaro or Dark horse Mustang. Not sure yet. Waiting to find out more about the tuning on the new Mustang platform.

Kia has came a long way of course they aren't without their problems but what car company isn't but they will last well over 200k miles with the proper maintenance done regularly

Just to clarify for people when he says it hits in the weight class of the Infiniti he means that fast ones the red sports not your regular N/A q50 or silver sport.hes talking about the Q50 and Q60 red sport 400s..and for BMWs he means the 335i from a few years back and the newer 340i,I've been in 2 of these they would probly give a scat pack a run for it's money
