  • I'm not gonna lie...this is probably your BEST video as far as clear and concise demonstration! As someone new to climbing, the knots can get a bit confusing. This was perfect!

What a wonderful video!!! It is surprising that no one else I have come across teaches to tie these knots with the assistance of gravity! It's extra effort to wrap upwards against gravity, and your method is so much easier!!! Thank you for such a valuable lesson! : )

  • Great video - thank you! In these 10 minutes I've learned more about climbing knots than in hours of videos before!

I thank you for taking the time to produce these videos, I have learned so much from watching them. I am a 73 year old just learning to do these things and you have helped a lot. Thanks again. Sincerely, Gary Tullos.

Wow. This is what I needed. You've helped to simplify all these different hitches I keep hearing about. Thank you so much!

I can't believe it's been two years since I first watched this, so I came back for a review. This is the absolute best way to learn these hitches. So far I've used the prussik & schwabish. I don't climb often, so these are the easiest for me to remember. I prefer the one-way action of the schwabish, but on some ropes the prussik holds better. I really should get out in my back yard and try them all. I might learn a different one that suits me well. I will be 70 this year, so I probably won't climb many more trees. At least I have a motorcycle for fun! Thanks Mr. Bino for the great vids you put out❤ Even if I quit climbing, I will still watch for the entertainment and feeling of camaraderie. P.S. I usually complain about background music, but towards the end, use chose some great music!

Great teacher. great videos. I'm not an arborist or tree climber, but a sailor looking for options to go up my mast without depending on the boat's winches. Very helpful.
  • A very nice and informative video. Thanks BINO - it was for sure very explanatory for us who have been into tree climbing for year without thinking about theese small differences. From Norway a big HURRAY!!!
  • @stevebrough304
Thanks Bino! This is very helpful. I watch the video multiple times and it helps me a lot. I still haven't figured out what determines the length and diameter of the prusik to be used.
  • @Billster1955
Wow, this is awesome Bino. You really simplified these hitches.
