This is the 2022 edition of Sinking Models On Parade - a simple video of model ships sinking. This was made for all of the sinking model fans out there!!! This video is intended to be fictional and although some segments may "RESEMBLE" history, the video is not actually intended to be an accurate depiction or specific recreation of any actual events, so although Titanic may hit a replica iceberg, the actual sinking was a lot different. Long story short I did not try to replicate every detail, so if the list of the ship is wrong etc... please realize this video was random and not intended to be historical - it's just some toys in a pool. The video is really only about watching plastic models sink in different scenarios and conditions, it is intended only as entertainment for those that like model ships and always wondered what it would look like if they sank... Also please note that not all the ships in this video actually sank in real life or sank the way I depicted them sinking... again this is fictional.

Also please note that although I try to make the ship models appearance as accurate as possible, that my Britannic model is actually a Titanic model kit - painted only to RESEMBLE Britannic, and does have some extra 3d printed modifications added to help make the ship more accurate but it is not perfect! Furthermore, at the time of the making of this video in June of 2022, there were “0” “zero” actual Britannic plastic model kits available for purchase ANYWHERE - they to my knowledge do not even exist… yes you can purchase fully assembled 3 D printed models and Lego kits Etc, but that is not the medium I work with, so long story short - This is not the actual Britannic in every detail. So please use your imagination when viewing my resembled version…

Lastly,

Although we had some fun sinking model and toy ships... Actual sinking ships are no laughing matter. Real sinkings are not fun or romantic. People do loose their lives during these tragic events… Please keep that in mind… Especially when it comes to the Titanic… So I want you to understand that no dis-respect was intended to the Titanic's memory, her victims, their families, or the survivors, or any other ship involved, in any other tragedy at sea, both historical and at the present.

***CORRECTION - I made a mistake on the video the “Tirpitz” model is actually a model of the “Scharnhorst” it was a late night when I did the editing and graphics… thank you to those that pointed it out

Just a word on the Music - Prior year's 2020 and 2021 video, the music was so good, and fit so well, I just could not find anything to top it, so back by popular demand is the same soundtrack! Please see below...

Music:
"Waltz of the Flowers" by Tchaikovsky
"Blue Danube" by Straus

VIDEO CORRECTION it has been brought to my attention by a few astute viewers that my “Tirpitz” model is actually the “Scharnhorst”. This is correct, I made a mistake, I did the editing late one night after a VERY LONG shift at work, (I am a YouTuber that has to keep his day job - yes lol) so I did goof this up - I can not pull the video to edit and keep the existing algorithm so it will have to stay “as is” - my apologies - my bad - It is a Scharnhorst model.

As a kid and even to this day, when I build a ship model I make it floatable. And usually I sink em at least once with very few exceptions. Although the pre ww2 destroyer 2 and a half foot long RC controlled, has too much wood in its make up and refuses to go completely under. im 57 now.
