This when basketball was fun to watch. NBA on NBC was the best era.

90's forever im 46 now and this was when the NBA was at an all time high. So glad i witnessed that era compared to todays era (NBA Live, NBA JAM,INSIDE STUFF) days

Shawn Kemp started to mature and grow by the time the Sonics playoff run started. First having to go through Karl Malone, then Hakeem Olajuwon and an up and coming Rockets, and then MVP Charles Barkley in the WCF playing for a chance to compete in the NBA Finals. Shawn definitely got better as the competition became greater. Early signs of what was still to come over the next 3-4 years from the reign man in Seattle. Awesome upload!

This reminds me of why I don’t watch today’s basketball. I quit watching after the Spurs last run with their big three.

People really forget how cold Charles Barkley was as a player. He was a damn unicorn. A dominant 6'4 1/2" power forward.

Seattle believe it or not could have won this series in 6. Games 3 and 5 were both VERY winnable for the Sonics.

Ricky Pierce is one of the most underrated scorers/6th man of all-time. Once averaged 23 PPG on 51% shooting, OFF THE BENCH! A whole bucket!

As a young Spurs fan, the Suns and the Sonics were the teams I feared the most from 92 to about 95.

Barkley actually put too much pressure on himself and the team to win the Championship that season. He also made sure to tell everyone about it! He played great but it's like the air went out of the balloon for Phoenix after '93.
