I love the sounds these characters make when they talk, it’s just gibberish but it’s so charming.

THE ROCKED OUT HARD WITH THESE COVERS DUDE I'M SO HAPPY AAAAAAA

1:13 For a second I thought he was gonna say "What's an email?"

Honestly, I’m glad they didn’t try to recreate the battle themes 1:1. That way, the new and old themes each have their own strengths instead of one being strictly better than the other.
-
It's interesting that the Bulky Bob-Ombs don't make an early audience appearance in Macho Grubba's battle (or the second Doopliss battle at that) as opposed to the Gamecube version.

they cooked so hard with the music

I’ve watched so many people play this game when I was younger and I’m eager to see how they’ll feel about it.

Did anyone notice the "Clear Bonus"? Does that mean Boss rematch are a thing?
-
Wow, the music is just fire!

I actually lost to Rawk Hawk. He beat the first time, but I managed to win with Koops "Shell Shield" and using "Charge" to boost Mario's attack and just used Power Bounce.

Honestly having them remake this game was great, cus for some scenes like when Grubbs powers up in the original game, he just does it as if he willingly transformed. Granted this was due to the technology at the time. But the remake shows us that he used the power of the Crystal Star to perform that transformation. Pretty interesting to go through the game and see what they did differently from the original.

GOD. I am DESPERATE for an update that let's you refight all the bosses whenever you want.

The old Rawk Hawk battle theme beats the new one by far

Def prefer the old macho Grubba theme! Not sure metal is the best direction to interpret the original soundtrack. The game has such a bounce in the original lol, that’s flattened a bit somehow. Can’t wait to play this game regardless

I'm glad I kept my classic tune badge on by accident when I did this because it sounded better.

Didn’t know Hawlucha’s Mega leaked

Macho Grubba is a joke if you use clock-out. I no-hit him that way. It was entertaining as heck though.

Prince Mush washed Rawk Hawk and he would have washed Grubba if he wasn't poisoned beforehand.
