Donald Trump’s would-be assassin was on the roof of the building where local counter-snipers were stationed, a damning new report has revealed.

The AGR International Inc. factory in Butler, Pennsylvania, was used as a “watch post” by local police, according to the New York Post.

The snipers in the building were placed to scan for threats against former US president Donald Trump, according to the New York Post’s sources.

A source added that despite the local sniper teams' presence in the building, none were on the roof.

The assassin, Thomas Matthews Crooks, scaled the factory building without challenges by law enforcement before firing eight shots at Trump.

Following the shooting, law enforcement agencies have blamed one another for the major security oversight.

Secret Service representative Anthony Gugliemi asserted local law enforcement was tasked with surveying the area where Crooks was located.

State Police Lt. Col. George Bivens spoke to reporters about the Secret Services responsibilities and claimed it was up to the government agency to lead.

“Secret Service always has the lead on securing something like this,” he said.

So I'm supposed to believe that kid outsmarted all those law enforcement agencies. I'm not buying it.

Let me get this strait. That roof top was identified as a vulnerability 2 day before the event. They were warned about the shooter 26 minutes before he shot. The counter sniper had him in his sights for 3 minutes and bystanders were warning police at least for 2 minutes before…. Wtf!!! Is going on!!?? Oh and the other counter sniper team is INSIDE the building instead of looking on top of it. You’d have to be brain dead to believe they were just that incompetent.

Here comes a series of worthless congressional hearings to figure out what happened...😒

That’s insane he was there for over 26 minutes and the secret service didn’t see him? I call BS!
  • @Anglovox
Secret Service, local police, & FBI were ALL aware of, "guy w/ a rifle on that roof," for OVER FOUR MINUTES.

  • @cjsamtab7
    This is unacceptable and inexcusable.
  • So you mean they deployed all the stupidest Law enforcement they have on that event?
  • @raytheron
I don't for one second believe the Secret Service was that useless; they seem to have been in on it.
  • The 26 minute delay following a warning from a first responder is very troubling
  • It's like playing hide-and-seek with a five year old. You saw the feet sticking out from under the curtains, but you JUST PLAYED ALONG.

A watch post ?? So the security was right below the shooter ?? Very SUSPECT
  • We the people DEMAND a full and impartial investigation into this. We demand Accountability!!! We can see through this, WE ARE NOT STUPID!!!
  • I was a Paramedic with the City and did a detail for Obamas family when they are in Hawaii and secret service wouldn't let us within a miles radius of their home. They would call us only if one of them got sick. This complaining and blaming is horseshit. THIS WAS AN INSIDE JOB 100%
