Found your videos just 2 weeks ago. So pleased with narrators' pronunciation and clarity. Also properly formed sentences.

The boat you are showing is a Welsh Corricle. The Irish Currach is longer with a pointed front.
  • @DrFruikenstein
You missed the ancient Chinese paddle wheel ships, powered by human powered paddle wheels.
  • interesting about the Fardier is the fact it was based on a threewheeled cart from the campine region in what is nowadays Belgium! that cart type got popular in other regions in Belgium and northern france by the late 1700's as it was practical and could bare heavy loads... the front wheel was steerable and followed the horses or ox that pulled the cart.

The currach and coracle are two very different types of boats, the one shown in the video is a coracle whereas the currach is long and sleek.

uh , the Minoans would have used natural materials, because that's what they had
  • The spiked roof of Chinese battle boats were huge issues because any flaming air attack could not shed the flames
  • @TheLocalmusic
thats not an irish currach, the currach is long slender with a pointed bow

    #12, #8, #7, #6, and #4 are far from "ancient". A diving bell is not a submarine, so #1 isn't "ancient" either.

The ancient cranes in Egypt used by making men run in a wheel like hamster was ingenious. Too bad the men were run practically till they died.

The small rounded boat, is called "Coracle" Pronounced: Cora cull.
  • You could say that I love vehicles so much that I bleed motor oil when cut, but you aren't big enough and there's too few of you to make me try and drive the La Marquise at 38MPH.
