Go 3/3 and check out the Creepy Nuts song "Call of the Night." The manga was inspired by/named after the song, and when it got an anime adaptation they used it for the ED and then got Creepy Nuts to also do the OP and an insert song called "Loss Time." They even got a cameo in episode 6.
  • @Akashiko
Idk if anyones already told you but Creepy Nuts performed all the music in Call of the Night.
  • @An_Actual_Kiwi
As others have said, check out the ending to the anime. It's another song by Creepy Nuts called "Yofukashi No Uta" which is japanese for call of the night. The manga was actually named after this song because the author really really liked it and asked for the bands permission to use it as the title.
  • @poopoostinkyshit
"Loss time" is also by them and an ost for the anime, Great song.
  • @aidenroqz
Call of the Night is such an underrated anime. Creepy Nuts have a First Take video of the whole song as well. Don't apologize for the pauses, you're teaching and it's fun to see the perspective of all these anime songs from someone involved in music. Great vid Tony 🤟🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻

This opening got me into Creepy Nuts, all their albums are so fun, incredibly talented guys
  • @ErisianRomantic
8:43 The full version of Daten is very fulfilling. You feel like it was truly complete.

YES! Finally more Creepy Nuts on this channel! All of their music is great, they are my favourite Japanese artist for sure.
  • I'm one of those people that actually cries when they hear certain type of music that ACTUALLY resonates in your soul because of how good it is. This song.. every time i hear it, i always feel my eyes water because its just that good.
  • @NaThingSerious
It’s nice to see Creep Nuts getting the respect they deserve, I found them from Call of the Night and they have been my favourite Japanese music group since and now I have about 20 of their songs, at least, on my playlist. Almost everything they make just absolutely slaps.

At the start of the video i couldnt understand why the op version and not full XD glad that you will check its full version. Also if you can check its ending called Yofukashi no Uta yes like the name of the anime. As i understand it its because Yofukashi no Uta's author (manga) really likes creepy nuts so he named his manga after one song of them which thank god it was used in the anime.

I mentioned it in the past but I LOVE that you pause and go back! it shows you pay attention, are interested, and take your analysis of the song seriously. Your comments of it are also so good, im not a musician nor ever had "good ear" for music, but your commentary is teaching me slowly to listen more carefully to details (instruments, sections) that I dont ever "register" normally, I love your channel and you're the first react channel I subscribe to!
  • @mipacem
ngl more creators need to use the premiere feature; you're only the second one out of my hundred or so subscriptions that has done so which makes no sense, since it's the most accessible form of providing scheduling info AND bypasses everything else on the feed, appearing front and center (also link click op 2 is 10/10 if you haven't checked that out yet)
  • @world4saker
The fact that the anime op are bangers while being half the song it show their hard work and love for the music
  • @NeonIceyy
YES! I'm so happy you reacted to Daten! Probably my favourite opening song (of all time even). You perfectly reminded me of my first time encountering this song when watching the anime which was nothing short of magical for me. <3 And also my first gateway into really getting addicted to Creepy Nuts. Call of the Night as a whole is just one massive vibe check, it's one of the most beautifully aesthetic and colourful shows I've ever witnessed that perfectly captures the chill nightlife scenery and it has the Creepy Nuts flavour all over it. It's like a massive love letter to the band. (They even appear in one of the episodes as cameos) Fitting as the anime probably wouldn't even exist without them. The manga author got inspired to write Call of the Night mostly because he listened to their song "Yofukashi no Uta" which is also the original Japanese title for the manga and anime, which then also became the Ending song for it too. (Probably goes without saying) but I obviously recommend that one just as much! It's one of their earlier songs, and I'm very sure it was their most popular as well when it came out. (If you loved Daten, you'll love Yofukashi no Uta!) I'd be so down to see a full song reaction of Daten too! You're far too deep in now, can't escape the endless Falling Falling~ of Creepy Nuts music hahaha 🎶Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah~

Never noticed the trumpets/horns before I saw this analysis, and now I can’t help but appreciate this entire piece more. 😩😮‍💨👌🏼

Shangri La Frontier op 1 and 2 are easily some of my favorite openings I’ve heard in anime in a while, please react to them next. I also recommend the anime itself, it is beautifully animated.
