We speak with Mahmood Mamdani, a professor of government at Columbia who has spoken with many of the pro-Palestine protesters camping out on school grounds to show solidarity with Gaza and demand the school divest from Israel. He says there is growing outrage from faculty after the school's leadership called in the police to raid the Gaza Solidarity Encampment and conduct mass arrests, while administrators have started suspending and evicting some students. "There has been no due process on the Columbia campus," says Mamdani.

We went through this in the 80s with Apartheid. College Administrators have learned nothing. The disdain for students persists.

How is this not Okay, but the riots from other protests that cost billion in damage, was fine? So it is ok to be upset and destroy everything around, but not ok to be upset that kids are being bombed, and people just want the mass killings to stop.

F Columbia & Mayor Adams… and shame on Biden & the White House.
  • Different types of REAL antisemitism: True antisemitism: hate of all Jewish people, specifically for their faith, culture, and/or ethnicity. Antisemitism by proxy: hate of Israel’s actions, unfairly extrapolated to all Jewish people. *This is an important one because, while the antisemitic sentiment is real, it does not come from an antisemitic place; but rather from a place of outrage against Israel’s actions. If Israel were to stop their human rights violations, this goes away. What antisemitism ISN’T: protests and criticism of Israel for their egregious crimes against humanity. USA did not "negotiate" its statehood with UK, and Palestine does not need Israel's permission to be a state. UN Declaration on Universal Human Rights guarantees statehood to Palestine.

"from the river to the sea palestine shall be free" How is there anything inciteful of that? Imagine saying that wishing for the freedom of a people is inciteful. What does the holocaust have to do with anything? Our leaders are out of touch and they need to step down.

So we're back to the 60's, eh? Persecuting students for speaking out against atrocities? The students should make it a point to sing CSN&Y's "Ohio" at every protest, AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE.

So great to see Dr. Mamdani. Read Good Muslim, Bad Muslim as a student in college which had a lasting impression on my world view.

What about the Jewish professor denied access to campus????
  • Litigation and money is all these clowns understand, so it's time for people to speak their language. Sue the schools! You either believe in free speech, or you don't. But you can't pick and choose who gets that freedom and who doesn't.

All anger is aimed at the Israeli government & the IDF! Nobody is blaming Jewish people, that’s why many, many Jewish students join these peaceful protests✊☮️
