  • My biggest sin is lust. As a child I found lust was love, which was a lie. Went through trauma and still constantly sin. I repent and ask forgiveness! I need to study and pray more.

Thanks man. I fell hard and even rebelled against God today, and this video made me realize i was being prideful, not wanting to accept God's way, which is the rough road, there's no easy way out, and today i have to accept that in order to move forward.

Lust being exploited as a young child, I got used to it. Lately, I haven't been feeling that kind of way. I've also been cutting off things that will trigger it. Sexual music, lots of swearing, trying to dress certain ways that don't suit me, and things that are dangerous for me. (I'm a tomboy and like wearing slightly baggy clothes, but at times, I like to dress feminine) I failed trice, but hopefully, I'll master it in my life. I hope and pray that anyone who's going through lust will overcome it. It'll take time, trust me.❤ May God bless you all. :))

You know, I almost passed up this video when I was doing my daily "Do Not Recommend" ritual on Youtube. 🙂 But I'm glad I didn't because your words spoke to the heart of this 63 year old seasoned citizen. Thank you for your message.

Amen. I'm in a voluntary period of isolation to reposition my heart and to let the word of God truly sink in, to be applied. It has it's hardships, but He is with me. Stay watchful and sober-minded, may God be with y'all.

I really appreciate how genuine this video feels. The experiences you talk about are based off of truth! Sadly a lot of "Christian" content creators out there are just making moralistic arguments in order to get some clout. On this topic of defeating sin, there's a really cool book that I've been reading called "Thoughts For Young Men" by J.C. Ryle and in it he says (and pardon me for the long quote but it's fire), "Think for a moment what you were sent into the world for. Not merely to eat and drink, and to indulge the desires of the flesh,-- not merely to dress out your body, and follow its lusts withersoever they lead you, -- not merely to work, and sleep and laugh, and talk, and enjoy yourselves, and think of nothing but time. No! You were meant for something higher and better than this. You were placed here to train for eternity. Your body was only intended to be a house for your immortal spirit. It is flying in the face of God to do as many do,---to make the soul a servant of the body, and not the body a servant to the soul."
  • 100 percent right. Right on the money. Fell into some sins recently, and not for the lack of trying. But I'm sure my environment and my heart are the main issues.

Ive been stuck in repetitive sexual sin for over a month now. I was feeling dead inside and worried God wouldn't forgive me and would harden my heart but after hearing this I know that God has my back and that Ive just been going about this whole thing the wrong way. Thank you for sharing brother, God bless.

God bless you man. Love the way you speak on sin in a very assertive yet calm way. Some people who are doing the works of God, speak in a condemning way like say they weren’t once struggling with sin. Yes you’re meant to be convicted but you must talk in a manner that will truly resonate, not oh now am holier than thou, I can condemn people and honestly brother you do the opposite of that and am ready to receive. It is hard being a Christian and saying you’re struggling with sin. The misconception as well is that when your Christian your perfect but I believe your sprit is constantly being renewed as your constantly being challenged. The enemy challenges those that are holy moreee, and that’s why I can’t stand listening to some Christian’s cause there so Judgemental like let’s be honest the walk isn’t easy and being honest as a Christian is what will draw people close cause there not alone, teaching people rather than, you should not yes we should not but let’s talk about how we can get there you know
