1. **Satya Yuga (Krita Yuga)
- Characteristics: Known as the "Golden Age," this period is marked by truth, virtue, and righteousness. People live in harmony with nature and each other, embodying immense physical and spiritual strength. Dharma (moral order) is fully realized, and there is no need for organized governance or law enforcement as everyone naturally adheres to virtuous living.
- Predictions about People: Humans possess great wisdom, power, and longevity. They live harmoniously without conflict, deceit, or suffering.
2. Treta Yuga
Characteristics: This era marks a decline from the Satya Yuga. Although still a time of great virtue, the emphasis shifts to structured religion and rituals. Great epics and heroes, such as Lord Rama, emerge during this period.
Predictions about People: Humans are less powerful than in Satya Yuga but still maintain high moral standards. Society begins to see the emergence of organized governance, and the lifespan of humans is reduced.
3. Dvapara Yuga
Characteristics: The decline of Dharma continues in Dvapara Yuga. The world becomes more materialistic, and knowledge of the Vedas starts to fade. Notable events during this era include the Mahabharata and the life of Lord Krishna.
Predictions about People: Humans become more susceptible to conflicts and societal stratification. They have a shorter lifespan and less spiritual strength than in previous Yugas.
4. Kali Yuga
- Characteristics: Known as the "Iron Age" or "Dark Age," Kali Yuga represents the peak of moral and spiritual decline. It is characterized by ignorance, dishonesty, and widespread suffering. Dharma is barely present, with people often living in conflict and deceit.
- Predictions about People: Humans live significantly shorter lives, often filled with strife and moral degradation. Social, political, and environmental challenges are prevalent. Greed, materialism, and immorality dominate human behavior.
- Kalki Avatar: According to Hindu prophecy, Lord Vishnu will incarnate as Kalki, the final avatar, at the end of Kali Yuga. Kalki is expected to arrive on a white horse, wielding a sword, to destroy the forces of adharma (unrighteousness) and restore Satya Yuga. This period of destruction and renewal will lead to the rebirth of a new Golden Age, reestablishing Dharma.
These predictions emphasize the cyclical nature of time and existence in Hindu philosophy, where periods of decline are followed by renewal and restoration.

When I read Holy science at that time only It struck to mind that Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is the Kalki Avatar. And lo here I found one more person also have same opinion. "जब मैंने 'कैवल्य दर्शनम' पढ़ी, तभी मेरे मन में यह विचार आया कि छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज ही कल्कि अवतार हैं। और देखिए, यहाँ मुझे एक और व्यक्ति मिला जो भी यही राय रखता है।"

I think, Guru Gobind Singhji (22 Dec 1666) fits the profile of kalki more than Shivaji Maharaj. He was not only a warrior but an austere saint, a poet and a great administrator. He let his sons be sacrificed for dharma and he established a new sect or religion of warrior saints - Sikhism. I have also heard that he did sadhna in various places across India and he had received blessings from 'Devi Ranchandi'. His father Guru Teg Bahadur ji was also a yogi of unbelievable calibre who did austerities and accepted having his head cut off rather than converting to Islam. Guru Gobind Singhji rode a white horse and had an eagle (which can be seen as 'Garooda' of Vishnu Ji) He is called 'Kalgidhar' (the wearer of Kalgi, an ornament which imitates a peacock feather), he was an archer and also carried a long sword. Please do more research on him, you'll find many things.

Actually Kalki is meant to come during the sandhi or transition of human consciousness from Kali to dwapara yuga. As we can still see lots of signs of the low human consciousness prevalent in the Kali Yuga even today. Kalki is meant to help humanity transition fully into the dwapara yuga by helping people expand their consciousness to a more divine/spiritual state of consciousness. I fully agree with your take on this being dwapara yuga because I am direct disciple of Gurudeva Yogananda ji and I too have read the book from Param Gurudeva Sri Yukteshwara. According to the Book " Holy Science " or "Kaivalya Darshanam" which was written by Swami Shri. Yukteshwar Giri Ji, Satya yug started 11501 B.C. and it's duration was of 4800 years. If we subtract 4800 years from 11501 we get 6701. (11501-4800=6701) Which means that Treta yog (which comes after Satya yog) was started in the year 6701 B.C. and it's duration was of 3600 years. Which ends in the year 3101 B.C. Birth year of Prabhu Shri Ramchandra found according to NASA Planetarium software is 5114 B.C. which according to this book is justifiable.
