Thanks to the engineering skills of Mark Rober and the to Trilogy Media who made the trip to India to confront the scammers themselves, we managed to film a set of pranks via the scammers' own CCTV cameras.
Although this is having some fun at the expense of scammers, this is a serious problem. Millions of dollars are lost to these scammers and the police in Kolkata do very little to shut down these call centers, so it would be great if people shared these videos and tweeted @KolkataPolice
Let's hope we can make a "shut down" video before long. In the meantime, enjoy....

The fact that Jim can do almost anything with a computer but still decides to use his knowledge to take down scammers and send glitter bombs to people astonishes me.

Glad I don’t have to worry about my 101 year old grandma… one time I called her from a friend’s number. She answered the unknown number call by blowing an air horn, then yelled “I DONT FALL FOR SCAMS!” And hung up. I was laughing so hard I couldn’t compose myself to call back from my own number for a while 😂

I love how Jim called four of them out by their real name and they still all tried to talk to him about computer problems and Microsoft. That is some real commitment.

Messing around with scammers for 20 minutes making them all freaked out about how you know their names, then having the gall to go back and ask them “so yeah, what’s wrong with my computer?” 😂

Love this video because every minute Jim consumed the whole teams time means time they aren’t scamming. Having them all transfixed in his talents is hypnotizing parasites. Brilliant work as always.
