The black man needs a radio show his voice ..... my god its so nice to listen to
  • @burnzy3210
if a mechanic doesn't have experience with a brand that sells well, it's probably reliable lol

I love car wizard's humility. Admitting shortcomings in your own knowledge/experience and deferring to someone else with more expertise is what real men do. Gives the man a chance to plug his pest control business too lol 😂 what a guy!

I have a 2008 S60 and it’s by a mile the most reliable and comfortable car I’ve ever owned. Probably wouldn’t buy any other brand going forward.

Adrian's manner is perfectly in line with Volvo: calm, competent, and powerful.

The best thing Hoovie ever did was introduce the world to the Car Wizard.

I listen to Adrian's voice then went and bought a Volvo....

A proud owner of a 2000 C70 T5 Coupe here. You can buy every 5-bangers powered Volvo's eyes closed, from 140 to 300 hp. One of the best engine ever.
  • I had a 1985 Volvo 740 turbo. Was reliable as hell and pretty fast. And fun to drift In the snow. Wish I still had it

Adrian has a narrator's voice. Good info. The two of you should find a volvo to work on.
  • As a Volvo owner, I can personally vouch for the inline 5 on the s40, mine is an '07 in stick and i totally love it.

Two of the smoothest voices in automotive YouTube

This is gold for car guys. Helping us avoid the land mines by bringing in the experts, and telling us exactly what to get, what to avoid, and WHY... Thank you!

1998 S70 is by far the best car I have ever owned - very reliable!
  • @guyofStorm
Great show guys. It's a blessing to hear from someone who spent a career with a company and witnessing first hand the failures and successes over the years. Such valuable information if you purchase used cars as often as I do.

I had one of those 2001 s40s when I was a teenager. Repairs were always minor and easy. Super durable and drove amazingly and got superb fuel economy. When I was a teenager I had a horrible Freeway accident where I was basically forced over and nailed a wall head on at nearly 60. My 2 passengers and I walked away with very minor scrapes and bumps. Super safe car for the Era and a complete hoot to drive.

My S40 T5 is 18 years old and looks new. No mechanical or body issues. All maintenance has been kept up and it runs well.

I own a 2003 Volvo s40 as my first car and have had it for a few years, extremely reliable, rides smooth like butter and has all the luxury accents! Easy on maintenance and fun to drive as my daily :)
