What Albert Einstein Said About The GOD?

In 1954, Einstein wrote a letter to Eric Gutkind in which he expressed his feelings about the God. Einstein said, "The word God is for me nothing more than the expression and a product of human weaknesses." Einstein didn't believe in biblical beliefs and never attended religious prayers as a teen.

Einstein didn't like the idea of a personal god a god that listens to all your room prayers and rewards or punishes people accordingly. Even on death, he denied the traditional burial because he didn't wanted people to pray on his grave. So, he asked his family to burn his body instead and scatter the ashes secretly, which they did.

“I believe the universe is so extra ordinary, only god could have created it. I am trying to figure out how he did it” Albert Einstein This is taken from his life story “genius” telecasted on national geographic.
  • I see my self in him , alone in this world ...... totally alone amongst the masses....

what Einstein responded about his belief ; "It was,of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions,a lie which is systematically repeated.I do not believe in personal god and i have never denied this but expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called 'religious' then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it" -GD,p-15

I feel about the same way. I was brought up in an old-school Roman Catholic culture, and indoctrinated with beliefs about eternal punishment, etc. I struggled with my beliefs for decades. With therapy, I let those scary, damaging beliefs go. I'm not a praying person, nor do I go to church, but I do believe in the Creator, the Source of all love. I simply live with gratitude for all the blessings I've been given, and make sure I'm kind and compassionate to others.

Einstein was not a religious man, but a special believer. His faith in God was, "I believe in Spinoza's God, who reveals himself in the lawful harmony of all that exists."

That means he considers someone or something totally different as GOD. Maybe Universe itself or maybe not. But he knows there has to be something or someone. Not the gods people believe in. Love how his and mine thoughts are the same.
