Never been to Ajman but definitely seen Sharjah a few times while visiting Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Sharjah is actually quite nice
  • Unlike most people, my first emirate was Sharjah. It also has impressive university campuses.

What I really love about your channel is that not only do you give us the real-time footage of the place but also contextualize it to it's economic and geographic characteristics. Love that! I lived in Abu Dhabi for more than 5 years but your 8 minute video gave me a better insight of Ajman and Sharjah than I had living there haha.
  • Sharjah has become very popular amongst Indian, sub continent, Russian and arab families as there are no disco, no night clubs, no massage parlor and no alcohol consumption. While this video is too short for Sharjah, just will highlight few bullet points. Sharjah has international airport and has its own airline called air Arabia. Sharjah corniche has almost 70 plus high rise towers of 10-44 stories facing sea, it has lots of huge public parks, Sharjah has over 20 museums. When it comes to malls, they have malls so huge nice and rich, not seen anywhere in the region and very lively, Sharjah has two real big bazaars for bargain shopping, it has theme park, golf courses, water park, and lots of beach resorts. Many movie cinemas and almost 300 plus popular restaurants for cuisine all over the world. I lived in Dubai and Sharjah both but find Sharjah quite better for families (except Western Europe/USA) that don’t need Alcohol, disco dancing or massage. Dubai is only 11 kms away. Dubai is a very cosmopolitan business city serving global tourism and huge commercial community and is a global hub which has benefited Sharjah a lot. Both cities are good for living if you have income sources.

This was my home for several years. I remember buying bubble gum from the corner store down the street from my house, for 1 dirham ( 27 US cents ).
