I am saving this video!!!!! Praise God I'm telling you this is exactly what my mother had me help her do in the kitchen back in the day. I've no idea how I'm going to source all the correct ingredients where I live, and how I expect to make this with less than 2 weeks til Christmas, but I'm going to do it!!! Thank you ๐๐ฟ๐ช๐ฟ๐๐ฟ

Thank you, Mr. Creamy. I learned some more tips for my fruit cake. I live in Panama. Giving honor to my Jamaican grandmother.

I'm from Curaรงao and we used to bake this only for very special occasions. It's a very expensive cake. The only difference is that we don't boil the fruits but we cure them in liquor for 6 weeks or more. It's so delicious.

I have an extra bottle of rum, I'll be adding the spices to it. I have 2 weeks till Christmas for the rum to absorb so i can pour on the top of my cakes. Thank you Mr. Creamy, I have not seen any other baker do that.

Excellent Presentation by the Host of how to make Christmas Black Cake. The most interesting part was the preparation of the ingredients and his skillful explanation of how everything comes together. The final product is outstanding in looks and I'm sure in taste as well. Great Job Sir. Happy Holidays.

Good night ๐, I've never used this method before in making black cake ๐, I love how you incorporated all the spices into the alcohol, the water that you used in the oven, waw I must try it, only thing I would have liked to see you test the cake to know that it's ready. Beautiful demo, love all the tips, and your wife were cleaning along the way, nice.

Reminds me of my dad. We in Jamaica bake similar cakes for Christmas. He makes the best Christmas cakes. Ingredients are a little different but looks the same. โค love it
