James Rothwell's contribution provided an interesting pespective from Berlin. It's tempting to see the rise of the Right in Europe through a hybrid warfare lens. R (Australia)
  • It seems like Ukraine should abandon the thermal power plants and install PV, wind and batteries.

This headline was traced back to a South Korean source and debunked yesterday! Quality journalism.
  • So it now appears that this spring Kharkhiv offensive for the Russians much resembles the German Kursk offensive in 1943, at least as far as the outcome of two attacking pincers failing to break through and link up. Of course in scale this offensive is far far smaller. We also know today that Kursk was the last time the Germans were able to mount an offensive of that size, and it used all the attacking power they could muster at the time. We can hope that today's offensive resembles Kursk in that way too when the history of this war is written.

How is it that random people can phone Cameron. Surely, his calls go through some sort of filtering process.

The insertion of north korean 'engineers' may have russkie engineers asking 'where do I go now'? Report for duty, train for several weeks, arm up, bon voyage.
  • @af4306
How will they stop them from running away.

The kack of power come winter will be serious. I hope they can sort some thing out. Heating in winter is essential. As the man said, catastrophe.

Russia picking all the bad ones for their team. What is crazy is how many from other countries Russia is paying for (although plenty are being tricked out of payment), and they are being killed in the hopes it keeps his figures lower and the graveyards from being full of Russians (even though graveyards are still being expanded daily). The sad thing is 95% of them are from poor countries, and they are obviously being sold on the premise of "big money, with no risk"
