This would’ve been the friendliest game in COPA America

most violent game in football history is a bit of an overstatement lol
-
I started watching football from 2000, the most violent games I have watched 1. Spain vs Netherlands 2. Italy vs Uruguay
-
Battle of Nuremberg 2006 WC Netherlands vs Portugal that's a violent match!
-
The three most violent matches on the last 20 years: Spain vs Netherlands; Portugal vs Netherlands, and Argentina vs Netherlands. I am starting to notice something...

Legend says there were 20 bookings that day..At last Ref booked himself which was not shown.
-
"Most violent game in the WCs" Nah. Nuremberg, Santiago, England Argentina 66, Italy Spain 34...

Spain vs Netherlands 2010 was violent as hell

That's some crazy editing and narration!!
-
I will never understand how that wasn’t a red on paredes for the reckless foul and booting the ball into the bench
-
Forget the story and focus on the EDITING.... This is a masterpiece...

Thanks to this match; For giving us the legendary meme/ dialogue... "QUE MIRAS BOBO? "😂

World Cup Germany 2006. The Battle of Nuremberg. Portugal V Netherlands. They were hitting each other so hard it was felt in California. And we are still feeling the aftershocks.

This just feels like it happened just a few days ago and I was happy for Argentina to progress to the semis and now this match is almost 1 and a half years ago Time really flies so fast This will be remembered as one of the most memorable matches of world cup

Germany 2006 Portugal vs Netherlands, Battle of Nuremberg 16 yellow 4 red

Yes, this is the most violent recent game. How about, though, the Battle of Santiago, Chile 2 - Italy 0? June 1962 World Cup. Punches were thrown, noses were broken, spitting occurred. The police had to remove a player that was ejected from the game. The red and yellow cards were not yet in use at that time (they were introduced at the 1970 World Cup).
