Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune, systemic, symmetrical, chronic, inflammatory polyarthritis that involves small, peripheral joints...Rheumatoid arthritis can have articular as well as extra-articular manifestations.

Rheumatoid involves the PIP and MCP.
PIP: proximal intraphalangeal joints.

  • Hi medicosis perfectionalis. I usually LOVE your mnemonics, but sometimes I use my own. I don't find "HLA-DR4 goes with RA" more memorable by thinking of the 4th finger. Instead, I think of D-4-mity, because RA deforms the hands.
  • The good thing that makes your channel special is that you try to cover all points in a topic, so that watching a video by you can somehow save time reading it from the textbook, please keep it up! All love.
