I love how anti-woke comedy presents itself as “edgy” and “offensive” but then it comes out and is the most bland inoffensive thing you’ve ever seen

The show being hated by its main target demographic, conservative christian men, just because they had a gay episode, is really telling of modern politics tbh

“The new cartoon THEY don’t want you to see” Clearly whoever they is are doing a great job

It's King of the Hill but they removed everything likeable about Hank Hill.

The stark difference between "Mr Birchum" and "King of the Hill", despite it being the same joke of "Old school conservative dad living in the changing modern day" is the fact that when Hank got upset about something, the joke was "Hank's upset by the changing times". In "Mr Bircham", the joke is "He's upset and you should be too and the thing he's upset about is wrong and should be mocked". Hank is old fashioned and resistant to the changing world and often times confused and frustrated, but rarely angry at it. Meanwhile conservative humor now is "Things that are different are bad and woke and should be made made fun of and hated specifically to own the libs"

Hey! I'm one of the animators and fixers of the show! I thought i can maybe share a little bit of how we made some things about the animation, since you commented on it By the way, i heard some of the advertising saying that this show was proudly made in America, but we, the animation crew, were located in Valencia, Spain. We put some references here and there, like the poster on principal Bortles office that says visit Valencia The show was made using 2D cutout rigs mainly. For those who wonder what that means is that instead of having to draw every single frame we move a 2d model similar of how 3D animation is made. Shows like Rick and Morty also use this, but they have a lot more time and manpower to polish and refine and to make more complicated poses. In fairness, they kind of wanted the characters to look a bit stiff, and not cartoony, so that's the show style But we didn't have time to make rigs for everything, specially por the characters that appear for a gag, so those were hand drawn animated. We had to do it fast so the animation is on 3's or even 4's I personally didn't like the show, and seems to be the main opinion for the crew i talked to. Hard to be passionate about a show that oposes LGBT+ rights when most of the crew is LGBT I would say "hope you like it", but lets be honest, so I'll say thanks for you to endure it

giving your own self-insert a daughter that respects you and shares all your interests is just… sad honestly

mr birchum vs the teacher guy is basically just someone making a show where they try and portray themselves as the “yes” chad meme

It’s hilarious how the single gay character in the show caused it be hated by the people it was pandering to

This show exists just to be tossed into the "Cancelled After 1 Season" pile

"You made quite a non-binary fuss to save the world, from intercontinental ballistic tweets" is something this show sounds like it would say, until you realize that level of writing is beyond ChatGPT

why do people from the daily wire complain about "woke" people "shoving their views down our throats" and then make an entire tv show based around their own views?

Why do all modern "adult cartoons" look the same now? Like they're literally all the same art style as each other?
