  • You two are the daughters every parent dreams of having! I am a physician. It was my goal and dream. It was and remains a shit ton of work. I can tell you I never had the sheer joy on my face that you two wear just talking about your passion! You are doing what I and many others PAY to do!! You have found your calling, your passion and are finding a way to make a living doing it! Because of that, you will never “work” a day in your life!! If you ever decide to screw this up and apply to med school, you have an awesome compelling legit story that we nerds flock to like moths to a light! The world is truly your oyster! Ps: Thank you for wearing clothes.😃
  • I had a smile on my face the whole time I was watching this video. As a father and grandfather I find it exciting to see the younger generation figure life out, make discoveries about life, and themselves. Thank you for telling your story (thus far anyway).

    I became a female captain at 42 a month ago 💪🏼

Y'all are humble and so different than all these other "fishing girls" good for y'all god bless

Fellow female captain here! Love your content! I’m 19 and haven’t met any young female captains yet so I really connect with you guys!
  • @frankhauber9123
As a Dad of two teenage daughters, you two young women are inspiring. I ask my daughters to find something that will make them happy, in a safe environment, and be self sufficient. Strong and competent are wonderful things to be. I'm a lifelong fisherman of the northeast canyons and love your content as well. Good luck to you both.

I’m currently a 12 year old kid who’s obsessed with fishing(It got to a point where my parents bought me a boat) and it’s so inspiring to see two females that are good at fishing and chose to be fishing charter captains. I just wanted to say that y’all are amazing and inspiring, so keep it going and I really hope that one day I get to meet you.

I have been a Professional Pilot for 52 years. Obtained my Captain’s license last March. Retiring from flying next January and starting another on the Sea. You sweet girls got it going on and having fun with class and laughs. Keep it up we are proud of you.
  • "Following the bread crumbs" such a great analogy! Following your own path is incredibly brave you gals are badasses!
  • You found what you love, and made it your living. So many people are never that happy or lucky. You’re a joy to watch.
  • @Jetski270
Love you girls. Simple loving people who will always be protected by the good lord.

Just stumbled upon your videos and I watched a few now I’m hooked and subscribed. Love the laid back approach to things. Unlike some other fishing channels I never feel like a dumbass after listening to you. I’ve worked as a mate for captains transporting yachts from as far south as St Thomas in the East and San Andres, Colombia in the west to as far north as Montréal by the outside around Nova Scotia. I can appreciate the comment about the feeling of being alone on the fly bridge. I really love your channel and wish you guys all the best.
  • I just found your channel and am binge watching the episodes! I have been fishing and boating my entire life and am seriously impressed with you two. You have such a head on your shoulders and as hard as you tried to explain the "why", you did an excellent job sharing. You two deserve so much of the credit for where you are and what you have accomplished, but I would like to shake your parents hands - they did an excellent job raising two bright and talented girls.
  • @doggydaddo47
It's almost like you 2 are having a conversation with yourself. It is so cool that you have each other as your mentor. To be so in sync with someone has to be awesome. You guys are doing great!!
  • @DixieMaddog
Congratulations! To you both. For almost a lifetime, I have also pursued fish for my bliss. That motivation is powerful. Struggling now, but never a regret. God Bless.

Recently came across your channel. We are enjoying watching. I occasionally have the opportunity to speak to high school students. One thing I stress is that it matters not what job you have in life. What matters is to get up on a workday and feel "I get to go to work today". It takes more than a boat load of money to make up for a job you don't like. Thankfully, I love my work as a Dr. but, my heart often goes back to those summers as a charter mate. There's something about heading offshore with the sunrise on a crisp spring morning that has no comparison. Do what you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life!
  • @LWDavis58
Perfect. Two professionals with a great life. What could be better. How proud your parents must be. Your dad did a great job.
  • @johncuervo3019
YouTube recommended me this video. You two are living the life! Best of luck to you both and hopefully I'll get to meet you all on the water.
  • @OCEANOUTKAST
love the story! Well done on following your PASSION! Congrats on NOT following the normal! Blessed and fortunate that your parents supported your journey! Why you say? Simply because it felt right, it made you happy, it wasn't about the money, it was all about the journey, and your "WHY" has two reason's for lesson...FOLLOW your PASSION and DON'T follow the normal. Well done!! all the way from NZ.
  • After and during your presentation of “why,” I had tears in my eyes and soul because of your life’s joy and expressions of that joy you share with everyone through your experiences and communication of knowledge. I really don’t have the words to express how much I viscerally agree with everyone who has said good things about the two of you and all you do. Your love for the water, fishing and boating is something I would hope could be deposited in my grandchildren. The best way I know how to do that, including personal experiences with them, is exposure to your videos, teaching and water life. Thank you for everything you are and do. I’m so glad you did and are choosing the life path you’ve taking. It is truly a blessing in so many ways to have you share it with the world in the fashion you do. I know this may sound overly dramatized, but truth is truth no matter how it’s served-up/delivered. Thank you!! 😊
